1. Minutes

MOTION:         “To approve minutes of Union Executive Committee meeting on August 6, 2020.”

VOTE:              unanimous approval, motion carries

2. Budget

SHRYOCK presented proposed budget. ALEXANDER asked about Anti-Racism Committee line item; SHRYOCK noted there is no dedicated line item, but UEC can approve, with a motion, any future proposed projects and expenses. Discussion followed. 

MOTION:         “To approve budget, as submitted by Budget Committee.”

VOTE:              unanimous approval, motion carries

3. Councilor resignation

Peter Cokkinias has submitted his resignation from Councilor position, effective August 31, 2020, and it has been accepted. SILVIO recommended appointment of Nichelle Mungo (Voice).

MOTION:         “To appoint Nichelle Mungo as Councilor to the Executive Committee.”
