1. Minutes

MOTION:         “To approve minutes of Union Executive Committee meeting on September 10, 2020.”

2. FT faculty payroll

SILVIO summarized a glitch in payroll that affected full-time faculty for the most recent pay cycle. SILVIO requested fix by Monday.

3. Anti-Racism Committee (ARC)

Following invitation from Union’s ARC, Berklee student representatives will discuss race-related topics and concerns at next UEC meeting (September 24).

5. Three-Year Contract

EPSTEIN proposed reduced class sizes, to alleviate strain on instructors, especially in writing-intensive courses, and increase available work opportunities for part-time faculty. M. SCOTT recommended framing proposal to administration as a suggestion.

6. Consultant to President

M. SCOTT thanked UEC for re-appointment to position as Consultant to President; SILVIO summarized expanded duties and activities, including UEC mentorship, of the position.
